Sometimes, the family gets into situations where we need a fast copy of a certain document. This often ends in vain. These situations are now avoided because of the printer’s copier feature. The process is very easy. In fact my kids are already familiar with it.

For my wife and I, the fax feature is very convenient. It allows us to send and receive faxes within the walls of our house. We no longer had to worry about driving down to any stores offering fax services. Also, we have minimized using the fax machine in our office.

It was surprising to find out that the scan feature was poor. There were just too much contrasting strips in the image. The color accuracy and resolution were also bad. My consolation was that it can produce tolerable scans of simple documents and pictures. I do this mainly to back-up the files.

I have observed that the printer has things that might raise concern to some people. We have experienced frequent paper jams lately. What we do is we just remove the jammed paper and its fixed. The high-pitched sound the machine emits though, is a bit annoying.
